undoing---coming apart, disintegrating, unraveling; the opposite (un-) of action and engagement; the erasure (ctrl + z) of previous progress...

recorded at Sweet Pea's Farm, ME during a time of acute depression, frequent bouts of insecurity and self-hatred, and confused intentions. i tried to use the music-making process to cope and understand my tendency to dissociate into internal space when i feel unprepared to face life. then i took the songs resulted from that process and stitched them into a sequence which tells the story of: setting out with good-faith efforts to do my best in life, but inevitably stumbling into fear and uncertainty, and eventually resigning myself to those struggles.
