Antoine Michaud This album, to me, is the one truely consolidating Alex's unique experimental electric guitar sound. It amazes me how easy it seems for him to write so many guitar parts that are evolving independantly, but create rich harmonies and beautiful melodies at the same time. The drums are also a nice addition. They are performed and mixed in the simplest way possible, fitting the style perfectly. I find the second part of Daytime Moon in 15/16, very, very addictive. Good job, Alex ! Favorite track: Daytime Moon.

about

this record shows my experimental rock guitar style from an up-front, straight-ahead, live-performance angle.

starting from scratch, it was written, recorded, mixed & mastered within about 2 months. I went for this relatively streamlined process to help break myself out of feeling stagnant & trapped in my own mind (& my tiny apartment in Winter Park, Florida).

straight from the electric guitar & pedalboard & drum set, with minimal tinkering & processing after the fact.
